The Randolph County Historical Society invites you to be involved in the history of Randolph County. Randolph County was established in 1787 and has seen West Virginia transition through its early days of wilderness, to statehood, changes of industry, and its struggle to stay afloat in a struggling economy. There is abundant information to preserve and share throughout the county, whether it be familial or local history, and the Randolph County Historical Society has been doing just that with success since 1924.
We’re a membership-based organization with periodic newsletters and programs. There are different membership levels if you’re interested in joining: hardship level at $10, regular level at $20, and supporting level at $50.
