The Jacob Stalnaker cabin is located behind the Blackman-Bosworth Store.
This cabin was built circa 1795 and was originally located just south of Beverly.  It was moved to its current location behind the Randolph County Museum in 1996, with the assistance of the Stalnaker Family Association and the Randolph County Historical Society.

The cabin is an example of an early settlement cabin. On the outside of the building, you can see the unique post and beam extension used as the integral part of the log cabin.
